About the Event
On May 5, 2026, Indigo Voyage Press hosted a special launch event celebrating the cultural dialogue between Edo, Wazobia and Edo, Japan through literature, food, memory, and conversation.
The evening featured presentations by the author of When the Ancestors Spoke in Two Tongues, cultural exchange discussions, and a fusion menu inspired by Yoruba and Japanese traditions.
2026年5月5日、Indigo Voyage Press は、ワゾビアのエドと日本の江戸を結ぶ文化的対話をテーマにした特別な出版記念イベントを開催しました。 文学、食、記憶、そして対話を通して、二つの文化が響き合うひとときを分かち合う夕べとなりました。 イベントでは、『祖先が二つの言葉で語りかけたとき』の著者によるプレゼンテーションをはじめ、文化交流ディスカッションや、ヨルバと日本の伝統に着想を得たフュージョンメニューが振る舞われました。
